DESCRIPTION
A house for a rich man / poor man is a competition that had no deadline nor prize. This competition was to study and design a space that spoke to how the one percent lives compared to the hundreds of millions who live in extreme poverty. My teammate and I devised a home that is related to the basic five elements of life: AIR, EARTH, LIGHT, FIRE, AND WATER. 

From these basic life elements we created a home that expresses the bleak juxtaposition for how a rich old man lives compared to a poor old man. Each section perspective illustrates how the scraps fall through the cracks of the rich man’s home and trickles down to the poor man’s cave.
